Contract to Full-time

Must be located in Atlanta, Ga or surrounding areas. This is a contract to full-time position.

About you:

  • You're an organized, disciplined industry vet with in-depth knowledge of scheduling and budgeting and all of the physical and technical processes of filmmaking.

  • You have a positive attitude and you treat all personnel with respect.

  • Having a safe, COVID compliant set is of the upmost importance to you.

  • You have exceptional communication skills and the diplomacy to balance the creative expectations of the director, artists and creative personnel with the financial resources available.

  • You’re excellent at forecasting issues, trouble-shooting and quickly pivoting, while simultaneously inspiring the team to excel in their work every day.

  • You're the thread that connects it all personnel from ideation to the wrap.

Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, supervise, and set career growth plans for contractors

  • Client facing liaison and quality control manager for all Sam Frank Production projects.

  • Create and manage project decks and schedules for each production.

  • Enforce and maintain company and brand standards for all productions

  • Provide production support and standards for contract producers and production managers

  • Identify, vet, and manage in-territory networks of facilities and freelancers

  • Must have intermediate experience with film budgeting software

  • Oversee and implement team processes to support on-time delivery and on-budget execution for all feature projects in development, production, post production and wrap out.

  • Technical ability and knowledge required to run Windows, and Mac-based programs for reviews with crew (dailies), clients, external vendors, and various meetings.

  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to organize, schedule, and delegate work effectively.

  • Must be pro-active and be an effective problem solver.

  • Must have ability to lead with a positive attitude and encourage collaboration.

  • Ability to manage time and balance priorities amid the pressures of busy, deadline-driven production.

    Work closely with artistic leads, directors, and producers to determine workflow and deliverables

  • Oversee the production schedule and ensure all production deadlines are met

  • Oversee preparation of production materials for shipment.

  • Support departments with problem solving, anticipating needs and concerns, and providing solutions

  • Anticipate and communicate issues to leadership team(s) to reach solutions in a timely manner.

  • Take notes regarding feedback and decisions made and disperse any required information to all job-related individuals and teams.

  • On relevant shows, oversee outsourced work so that vendors’ bids and schedule flow with the overall show schedule, and confirm that vendors’ bids and schedule are in line with the goals of the show.

  • Technical ability and knowledge required to run Windows, and Mac-based programs for reviews with crew (dailies), clients, external vendors, and various meetings.
